The 56th European Commodities Exchange
is organised by the Associazioni Granarie of Torino and Milano
Torino, Italy’s first capital city, with its two thousand years of history, is today a city undergoing great transformation. Culture and innovation are the key words, along with hospitality and enogastronomy. The legacy of the Winter Olympics, which were held in Torino in 2006, was a new attitude to tourism and, by creating something to suit everyone, the city has won the title of “3 star city” in the prestigious Michelin Guide.
Milano has always been considered the economic capital of Italy, the city of fashion, a focal point for contemporary art and houses the most sought after design. Milano is also a city of beautiful monuments providing an example of a fusion between Gothic and Baroque styles. It is constantly changing; an extraordinarily young and forward thinking metropolis. In 2015 it will host EXPO, the largest international event for the food industry.
